Rep. Ron Estes, U.S. Congressman representing Kansas’ 4th district since 2017, shared a series of posts on July 26 and 27, 2025, highlighting legislative activity and border security statistics.

On July 26, Estes posted about his participation in a committee meeting at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library: "At the @RonaldReagan Presidential Library with the @WaysandMeansGOP committee to talk about the One Big, Beautiful Bill and how tax relief is coming for every American."

Later that day, he commented on border apprehension data: "From 83,532 apprehensions in 2024 to 6,072 apprehensions in 2025 for the month of June, President Trump's policies are securing our border and making communities like the ones I represent in Kansas safe."

On July 27, Estes addressed provisions related to research and development in recent legislation: "My research and development provision was made permanent in the One Big, Beautiful Bill. This means American small businesses will be able to expense 100% of R&D - which is a major win for jobs since three-quarters of research and development spending is on wages and salaries."

Estes has represented Kansas’s 4th District since succeeding Mike Pompeo in Congress. Born in Topeka in 1956, Estes resides in Wichita and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Technological University.
