Rep. Ron Estes, U.S. Congressman representing Kansas’ 4th district since 2017, shared a series of posts on social media in mid-July highlighting legislative achievements, local heritage, and personal loss.

On July 15, Estes posted about recent Republican efforts in Congress: "Middle class and working class Americans - like the ones in my district in Kansas - will see the biggest tax cut in history because of Republicans' work on the One Big, Beautiful Bill."

Later that day, he reflected on Wichita's aviation legacy, writing: "This past weekend Kansans had the opportunity to see century-old planes up close. Wichita's legacy as the Air Capital of the World lives on! https://t.co/2xiXNtnBT3" The city of Wichita is widely recognized for its historical significance in aircraft manufacturing.

On July 16, Estes addressed a more somber topic with a tribute to his intern: "I delivered remarks on the House floor honoring the life of my intern, Eric Jachym, who was killed as an innocent bystander in Washington D.C. on June 30. Susan and I offer our prayers and condolences to Eric's family, friends and loved ones. May he rest in peace. https://t.co/VZRNbtEfVy"

Estes was born in Topeka, Kansas in 1956 and currently resides in Wichita. He graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Estes has served as a member of Congress since replacing Mike Pompeo in 2017.
