Representative Ron Estes, who has served Kansas’s 4th District in the U.S. Congress since 2017, recently addressed several legislative and national developments through his social media posts. Estes, born in Topeka in 1956 and currently residing in Wichita, has consistently focused on issues related to economic growth, aviation safety, and support for Republican-led initiatives.
On July 10, 2025, Estes expressed his support for legislation aimed at extending the 2017 Trump Tax Cuts. He stated: "The One Big, Beautiful Bill will extend the 2017 Trump Tax Cuts so that small businesses, like the ones in Kansas, can thrive. I’m proud to support legislation that will boost American manufacturing, innovation and investment."
Later that day, Estes congratulated Bryan Bedford on his Senate confirmation as head of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). In his post he said: "Congratulations to Bryan Bedford on his confirmation by the Senate to lead the FAA. I look forward to working with Bryan and @SecDuffy on critical aviation modernization, safety, and workforce priorities in his new role."
On July 11, 2025, Estes reflected on what he described as significant progress during President Trump's first six months in office. He wrote: "America's Golden Age started when President Trump took the oath of office in January. Since then, he's delivered successes for Kansans and fellow Americans with Republican support. Here's to the first six months!"
Estes succeeded Mike Pompeo as representative of Kansas’s 4th District after Pompeo left Congress in 2017. A graduate of Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Estes continues to emphasize policies supporting economic development and public sector leadership.
