Rep. Ron Estes, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kansas' 4th district, has shared a series of tweets highlighting key aspects of the "One Big, Beautiful Bill." Estes, who succeeded Mike Pompeo in 2017 and holds a BS from Tennessee Technological University, is known for his focus on economic growth and legislative initiatives.

On July 9, 2025, Rep. Ron Estes emphasized his pro-jobs research and development (R&D) provision within the bill. He stated that it provides American businesses with "permanent 100% R&D expensing," which he believes will lead to growth in domestic manufacturing. He elaborated on this during an appearance on the John Whitmer Show. "My pro-jobs research and development (R&D) provision in the One Big, Beautiful Bill provides American businesses with permanent 100% R&D expensing, which will lead to growth in domestic manufacturing."

In a subsequent tweet on July 10, 2025, Estes highlighted efforts by House Republicans to ensure that President Trump's promises are being fulfilled through codification of his executive orders into law via the bill. ".@HouseGOP are ensuring President Trump's promises to Americans are being kept and his executive orders codified."

Later that day, Estes addressed how the bill benefits seniors by increasing their tax deduction up to $6,000. He pointed out that congressional Republicans are aligning with President Trump's agenda to provide tax relief for seniors. "The One Big, Beautiful Bill benefits seniors because it increases their tax deduction up to $6,000."
