Rep. Ron Estes, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Kansas’ 4th district since 2017, recently took to social media to discuss a legislative development that he supports. Estes, a native of Topeka, Kansas and an alumnus of Tennessee Technological University, emphasized the benefits of the proposed legislation known as the One Big Beautiful Bill.

On July 2, 2025, Estes stated that "The One Big Beautiful Bill will let Kansans keep more of their hard-earned money." He highlighted that Republicans are aligned with the priorities set by President Biden and are committed to providing tax relief for everyday Americans.

In a follow-up post on July 3, 2025, Estes reiterated his support for the bill by saying "This bill delivers on what Americans voted for in November - it's time to pass the One Big, Beautiful Bill." This statement was accompanied by a link urging constituents and followers to engage with more details about the bill.

Later that same day, Estes announced significant progress regarding the bill's journey through Congress. He shared on social media that " PASSED! The most pro-worker piece of legislation now heads to the @WhiteHouse for @POTUS' signature." He also noted that tax cuts from this bill are expected to raise wages for Kansas workers by $3,300.

Ron Estes has represented Kansas's 4th District since succeeding Mike Pompeo in 2017. At age 66, he continues his political career from Wichita where he resides.
