U.S. Congressman Ron Estes (R-Kansas) joined members of the House Republican Study Committee at a press conference outside the U.S. Capitol to discuss efforts to address crime in Washington, D.C. The event focused on what organizers described as a crackdown on crime in the capital, highlighting actions by President Trump and legislative initiatives aimed at improving safety in American cities.

Ron Estes has represented Kansas’ 4th congressional district since 2017, succeeding Mike Pompeo. He was born in Topeka, Kansas in 1956 and currently resides in Wichita. Estes holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Technological University.
