Rep. Ron Estes, who represents Kansas’ 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted legislative efforts and local business initiatives through a series of posts on social media.

On August 29, 2025, Estes posted about legislative priorities aimed at supporting rural America. He wrote, "The One Big, Beautiful Bill Makes Rural America Great Again by:

Providing permanent 100% immediate expensing

Making the small business deduction permanent

Renewing the Opportunity Zone program".

Later that day, Estes shared details from a visit to Wellington where he met with employees at AAR CORP. In his post dated August 29, 2025, he stated, "During the week, I traveled to Wellington where I met w/ employees at @AARCORP to see firsthand what they're building and working on.

Companies like AAR CORP help bring jobs to rural Kansans as well as veterans – who make up 10% of their workforce. It was a pleasure to visit."

On August 30, 2025, Estes addressed public safety concerns following a tragic event involving an individual named Eric. He wrote, "Eric's tragic death is one of those things that should never have happened. We need to make sure that we provide safe streets and we protect Americans across the country."

Estes has served in Congress since replacing Mike Pompeo in 2017 and currently resides in Wichita. Born in Topeka in 1956 and holding a BS from Tennessee Technological University, Estes continues to focus on issues relevant to his constituents in Kansas’s 4th District.
