Rep. Ron Estes, who represents Kansas’ 4th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on his recent activities and policy positions through a series of posts on social media between August 26 and August 27, 2025.
On August 26, Estes announced an upcoming television appearance: "Joining @MorningsMaria soon on @FoxBusiness… tune in. "
Later that day, he expressed support for the President’s stance on defending American technology companies from foreign-imposed Digital Services Taxes (DSTs), stating: "I strongly support @POTUS's commitment to defending American tech companies from unfair foreign Digital Services Taxes (DSTs). As someone who introduced a bipartisan resolution opposing such taxes and worked on provisions in recent tax legislation to enable retaliatory actions,"
On August 27, Estes reported visiting C.E. Machine Company, an aerospace manufacturer in Wichita: "I toured C.E. Machine Company, an aerospace manufacturer in Wichita that's experienced 50 years of growth & success – leading to four warehouse expansions! We discussed the One Big, Beautiful Bill & the pro-growth tax policies that will enable them to reinvest in their company."
Estes has represented Kansas’s 4th District since 2017 after succeeding Mike Pompeo. He was born in Topeka in 1956 and currently resides in Wichita. Estes holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Technological University.
