Rep. Ron Estes, a U.S. Congressman representing Kansas’ 4th district since 2017, recently shared updates on legislative priorities and public appearances through his official Twitter account.

On August 25, Estes highlighted the benefits of what he called “The One Big, Beautiful Bill,” stating that it supports Kansas’ working families by "Making the 2017 Trump Tax Cuts permanent Stopping the largest tax increase in American history Increasing the Standard Deduction".

Later that day, Estes commented on executive actions taken by former President Donald Trump to address crime in Washington, D.C., writing "President Trump’s executive orders today to address crime in our nation’s capital are making our capital safer for people to live, work and visit. It’s my hope Washington, D.C. will be a place Americans are proud to visit and welcome people from all over the globe." This post came as part of an ongoing national conversation about public safety measures in major cities.

On August 26, Estes noted his participation at an industry event: "Spoke at @KIOGAKansas' Annual Convention alongside my colleagues @RepMann and @RepDerekSchmidt. Thank you for having me!"

Estes has served as the representative for Kansas's 4th District since replacing Mike Pompeo in 2017. He was born in Topeka in 1956 and currently resides in Wichita. Estes holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Technological University.
