Rep. Ron Estes, U.S. Congressman representing Kansas’s 4th district since 2017, posted a series of updates on his official Twitter account on August 22, 2025. The tweets addressed the passing of Judge Bruce Brown, an upcoming media appearance, and a local aviation training center expansion.

In a message expressing sympathy for a local figure, Estes wrote on August 22: "Susan and I extend our condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Judge Bruce Brown, who passed away yesterday. For over 15 years, Judge Brown served Sedgwick County in the 18th Judicial District Court. May he rest in peace."

Later that evening, Estes announced his participation in a television segment: "Joining The Hill on @NewsNation soon. Tune in " (August 22).

Highlighting Wichita’s longstanding role in aviation innovation, Estes also attended an event related to workforce development: "Wichita became known as the Air Capital of the World nearly a century ago, and that same spirit of aerospace innovation is still alive today. It was an honor to attend @wsutech's groundbreaking for the expansion of their National Center for Aviation Training." (August 22).

Estes has represented Kansas’s 4th district since replacing Mike Pompeo in Congress in 2017 and resides in Wichita. Born in Topeka in 1956 and currently aged 66, he holds a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Technological University.
