Ron Estes highlights worker pay increases and rural health initiatives

Rep. Ron Estes, who represents Kansas’ 4th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on legislative activities and economic developments in a series of tweets posted on July 30, 2025.

In a tweet from July 30, Estes highlighted his participation in a congressional hearing focused on worker benefits: "On Friday, I participated in a @WaysandMeansGOP field hearing in Las Vegas to talk about how the O-Triple-B is delivering for American workers. Because of our legislation, folks in my district can expect to see an increase of $7,000 - $9,000 in take-home pay."

Later that day, Estes commented on recent economic data: "Today's economic numbers signal the American comeback is happening. 3% real GDP growth in quarter two was stronger and higher than expected. Because of @POTUS' policies and the work of Republicans in Congress we're seeing strong economic growth that's ushering in America’s"

In another post from July 30, Estes addressed healthcare access for rural communities: "Air ambulances provide lifesaving services, especially for Kansans living in rural parts of our state. Reintroduced common sense legislation with @SenatorBennet & colleagues to ensure all Americans have emergency access to care regardless of location."

Ron Estes has represented Kansas’s 4th District since replacing Mike Pompeo in 2017. He was born in Topeka and currently resides in Wichita. Estes holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Technological University.
