U.S. Representative Ron Estes, who represents Kansas’s 4th district in Congress, recently highlighted his activities related to tax policy reform and military leadership changes in a series of social media posts.

On July 28, Estes posted about his participation as a keynote speaker at an event hosted by the American Enterprise Institute (AEI). In his tweet, he stated: "Last week, I delivered the keynote address at @AEI's International Tax Cooperation and Competition: A Reset. I shared ways to drive economic growth through tax policy reform, crafting the One Big, Beautiful Bill, and more." The AEI is a public policy think tank based in Washington D.C.

Later that day, Estes shared another update regarding his involvement with colleagues from the House Ways and Means Committee. He wrote: "Over the weekend, I joined my @WaysandMeansGOP colleagues at the @RonaldReagan Presidential Library to hear firsthand from Americans about the One Big, Beautiful Bill and share how my R&D expensing provision in the bill will improve competition in global markets." The post references ongoing legislative efforts aimed at revising research and development tax policies.

On July 29, Estes turned his attention to military affairs. He noted his attendance at McConnell Air Force Base’s Change of Command ceremony. According to his post: "I was honored to attend McConnell AFB's Change of Command ceremony to welcome Col. Joe Wall as the 22nd Air Refueling Wing Commander and thank Col. Cory Damon for his leadership and service over the past two years. Grateful for our Airmen serving at McConnell & look forward to"

Estes has served in Congress since 2017 after succeeding Mike Pompeo as representative for Kansas’s 4th district. Born in Topeka in 1956 and currently residing in Wichita, Estes holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Technological University.
