Rep. Ron Estes, a U.S. Congressman representing Kansas’ 4th district since 2017, posted several messages on September 10, 2025, reflecting on economic growth in Wichita and expressing condolences following the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Later that day at 19:36 UTC, he expressed support for Kirk's family with a brief message: "Praying for Charlie Kirk and his family."

At 21:17 UTC, Estes followed up with another post honoring Kirk’s contributions to conservative politics and youth engagement: "The loss of Charlie Kirk will be felt by all corners of the conservative movement. Charlie touched the lives of many people -– but most of all, America's youth.

Estes has been active in Congress since replacing Mike Pompeo in 2017 as representative for Kansas’s 4th District. Born in Topeka in 1956 and now residing in Wichita, Estes is also an alumnus of Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Wichita has experienced significant growth in transportation and warehouse employment over recent years—a trend that Estes attributes partly to Republican-led tax reforms aimed at encouraging business expansion across Midwestern cities.
