Rep. Ron Estes, who represents Kansas’ 4th district in the U.S. Congress, addressed recent developments and issues in a series of posts on September 8, 2025.

Later that evening, Estes commented on an incident involving one of his interns: "What happened to my intern, Eric Tarpinian-Jachym, in June shouldn't be a common occurrence in Washington, D.C. I remain hopeful this case will be resolved and our nation's capital will be a safe city that welcomes visitors from all over. https://t.co/cKzhIunNJI" (posted at 22:27 UTC).

In another statement posted at 23:02 UTC, Estes referenced improvements within the Social Security Administration under current leadership: "Under @POTUS and Commissioner Bisignano, @SocialSecurity has already seen improvement in customer service and delivering on completing payments under the Social Security Fairness Act ahead of schedule.

Ron Estes has served as a member of Congress since 2017 after succeeding Mike Pompeo. He was born in Topeka, Kansas in 1956 and currently resides in Wichita. Estes holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Technological University.
