On Friday, Feb. 28, former West High School standouts Aaron Lugo and Andres Perez’s current college team, the Houston Cougars, lost 7-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UT Arlington Mavericks.

The game took place at Clay Gould Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at Clay Gould Ballpark against UT Arlington Mavericks.
