West High School standouts Aaron Lugo and Andres Perez’s college team won in NCAA Division I baseball game on Sunday, Feb. 23

On Sunday, Feb. 23, former West High School standouts Aaron Lugo and Andres Perez’s current college team, the Houston Cougars, won 7-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the California Golden Bears.

The game took place at Evans Diamond at Stu Gordon Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Golden Bears this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 6:30 p.m. at Schroeder Park against Sam Houston Bearkats.
