On Friday, Feb. 21, former West High School standouts Aaron Lugo and Andres Perez’s current college team, the Houston Cougars, won 6-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the California Golden Bears.

The game took place at Evans Diamond at Stu Gordon Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Golden Bears this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. at Evans Diamond at Stu Gordon Stadium against California Golden Bears.
