Rep. Ron Estes of Kansas has expressed his support for President Donald Trump following the president's address to a joint session of Congress. In the address, which marked Trump's first to Congress in his second term, the president emphasized his "America First" policies.

Estes commented on the address, stating, "In his first address to Congress in his second term, President Trump highlighted his America First policies that Americans overwhelmingly voted for in November and that congressional Republicans are working hard to advance." He praised the administration's achievements such as reduced illegal border crossings and efforts to minimize governmental waste with assistance from DOGE.

The congressman also expressed optimism about ongoing efforts to revitalize America's economy and enhance national security. "I support President Trump’s efforts to restore America’s economy and make our nation secure and competitive once again," Estes said. He added that he looks forward to continuing work on what he described as a bold agenda intended to benefit all residents of Kansas.
