On Thursday, February 15, former Shawnee Mission North High School standout Siera Hoekstra’s current college team, the Wichita State Shockers, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division I game against the South Carolina Gamecocks.

The game took place in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. This was their first matchup against the South Carolina Gamecocks this season.

The Shockers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, February 23 at 12:30 p.m. in Fayetteville, Arkansas against Illinois State Redbirds.
