On Friday, February 9, former Shawnee Mission North High School standout Siera Hoekstra’s current college team, the Wichita State Shockers, won 7-3 in their NCAA Division I game against the Sam Houston State Bearkats.

The game took place in Huntsville, Texas. This was their first matchup against the Sam Houston State Bearkats this season.

The Shockers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, February 14 at 12 p.m. in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico against Clemson Tigers.
