There is an opening on the Fire Code Board of Appeals for a registered design professional with electrical engineering experience; or an electrical contractor with at least ten years of experience, five of which shall have been in responsible charge of work, to serve a three-year term.

This Board determines the suitability of alternate materials and types of construction and provides for reasonable interpretations of the provisions of the Fire Code. Appointments for this Board are appointed and approved by the Board of County Commissioners. For more detailed information, see Board description under Advisory Boards on the County website. Applications are open through January 15, 2023.
