Last week, U.S. Congressman Ron Estes (R-Kansas) visited several locations throughout Kansas’ 4th District, making stops from Caldwell to Andover and returning to Wichita. During these visits, Rep. Estes met with local businesses, toured manufacturing facilities, and engaged with constituents.

Rep. Estes highlighted provisions in the working families tax cut, a measure passed by Republicans and signed into law by President Donald Trump on July 4, 2025. He described these provisions as “pro-family” and “pro-worker.”

During his tour, Rep. Estes spoke at the Kansas Independent Oil & Gas Association’s (KIOGA) Annual Convention alongside Reps. Mann and Schmidt. He also toured various companies including C.E. Machine Company, Rainier Arms, AAR CORP.’s Wellington location, Sherwin-Williams’ Andover plant, and NWI Aerostructures in Park City.

Additional stops included a visit to KanOkla’s new technology capabilities at a hospital in Caldwell and participation in a community roundtable hosted by KanOkla. In Belle Plaine, Rep. Estes stood with Mayor Greg Harlan, USDA Kansas State Director for Rural Development Gimmie Jo Jansonius, and members of the community in front of the town’s new water tower.

Ron Estes has served as the U.S. Representative for Kansas’ 4th District since 2017 after succeeding Mike Pompeo [source]. Born in Topeka in 1956, he currently resides in Wichita [source] and is an alumnus of Tennessee Technological University.
