West High School standouts Aaron Lugo and Andres Perez’s college team won in NCAA Division I baseball game on Tuesday, Feb. 25

On Tuesday, Feb. 25, former West High School standouts Aaron Lugo and Andres Perez’s current college team, the Houston Cougars, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Sam Houston Bearkats.

The game took place at Schroeder Park. This was their first matchup against the Bearkats this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. at Clay Gould Ballpark against UT Arlington Mavericks.
