U.S. Senator Jerry Moran, who serves as the ranking member of the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee, issued a statement in recognition of Veterans Day. In his message, he emphasized the importance of honoring those who have served in the armed forces.

“On November 11, Americans come together to recognize and honor the brave men and women who have served our country in the armed forces,” stated Senator Moran. He expressed deep respect for veterans, noting that they embody "the very best values of our country: courage, sacrifice, hard work and a willingness to put others first."

Senator Moran also highlighted his commitment as part of the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee to improve the lives of veterans after their service. “I am committed to improving the lives of all of America’s veterans to make certain they have an opportunity to succeed after their time of service to our nation,” he said.

He urged continuous appreciation for veterans' contributions both on Veterans Day and throughout the year. “To all who have served, thank you,” concluded Senator Moran.
