What made you want to attend Wichita State?

The university's size, cost of living, tuition, and the curriculum

How are you feeling leading up to graduation?

I am excited and looking forward to what is waiting for me ahead.

What was been your biggest challenge as a student, and how did you overcome it?

I'm an introvert and hardly initiate conversations with others. Making friends was challenging and talking to professors was even harder. I started by talking to my fellow mates in class, introducing myself to professors after class, and joining extracurricular activities such as the Cultural Ambassador Program at WSU.

What has been your most helpful learning experience at Wichita State?

I appreciate all the support I have received from the CSD department. Faculty members are helpful and they take the time to know their students. I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Erin O'Bryan, assistant professor in the CSD department, on a poster presented at the Kansas Speech Hearing Association conference.

What are your plans after graduation?

I will be applying to the graduate program in speech language pathology

What advice would you give other Wichita State students?

Enjoy college life, have fun, and make connections. Do your best in everything you do
