In anticipation of the first annual Scholarship and Service event Dec. 5, Newman University is collecting donated Christmas cards, socks, wrapping paper and tape through Dec. 2.
Beginning at noon Dec. 5, Newman community members are invited to help write cards to veterans, help retired ASC sisters write Christmas cards and wrap gifts for the Lord’s Diner in Wichita. This event will take place immediately following Scholars Day in the Dugan-Gorges Conference Center.
Donations may be dropped off in Director of Student Success Kate Bussell’s office, Sacred Heart Hall 302, any time up until Dec. 2.
