The Wichita Technical Institute enrolls 778 undergrads

At the Wichita Technical Institute, 69 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 55 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private for-profit institution in Wichita enrolled 778 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 16.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

53 percent of undergraduates are residents of Kansas, and 47 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (59 percent) and Black or African American (17 percent).
