Rep. Ron Estes, a U.S. Congressman representing Kansas’s 4th district since 2017, recently highlighted workforce developments, historical recognition, and tax relief efforts in a series of posts on X.

On September 24, Estes commented on local job growth by stating, ".@TextronAviation is helping address workforce shortages and retirements by hiring close to 100 workers a month, which should remain unchanged 'for the foreseeable future.' This is positive news for job growth in Wichita and in the manufacturing industry."

Two days later, on September 26, Estes shared his thoughts about Father Emil Kapaun, an American military chaplain from Kansas known for his faith during captivity in North Korea. Estes wrote: "Father Emil Kapaun was an American hero from the plains of Kansas who followed his deep devotion to God throughout his military service and continued prayer while held in a prison camp in North Korea. This is a great opportunity for Americans to join Kansans in learning more".

Later that same day, Estes addressed tax policy changes benefiting seniors: "Republicans’ working families tax cut will provide $63 billion in tax relief to seniors. This is positive news for seniors in the Sunflower State for being able to keep more of their hard-earned money."

Estes has represented Kansas’s 4th congressional district since succeeding Mike Pompeo in 2017. Born in Topeka in 1956 and currently residing in Wichita, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Technological University.
