Rep. Ron Estes, a U.S. Congressman representing Kansas’ 4th district since 2017, addressed recent developments and activities in a series of tweets on September 9, 2025.

On September 9, Estes commented on an ongoing criminal investigation involving his former intern: "The news of two individuals being arrested in connection with the murder of my intern, Eric Tarpinian-Jachym, brings this case one step closer to being resolved. I remain hopeful @DCPoliceDept will catch the third suspect soon."

Later that day, Estes shared details from a visit to a Kansas-based business: "In Bel Aire, I toured @clinicinacan, a local business that converts shipping containers into global health clinics sent to people in need or in disaster areas. Their manufacturing happens right here in Kansas!"

In another post on September 9, Estes highlighted efforts to address issues within federal nutrition assistance programs: ".@RepMann and I sent a letter to @GovLauraKelly requesting she work with @USDA to correct the SNAP error rate that sent SNAP funds to ineligible recipients."

Estes has served as the representative for Kansas’s 4th District since succeeding Mike Pompeo in 2017. He was born in Topeka in 1956 and currently resides in Wichita. Estes holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Technological University.
